I’m kishi. True to the name, this website is my archive, a definitive online portfolio of all my work over the years. A lot of what I post comes from my love of collecting old Japanese anime and video game magazines, ranging from the late 1970s all the way up to the 2020s. My main goal for this site is to share and translate what I can for an English speaking audience who might not have a way to experience it otherwise. Plus my interests vary, so you can expect to find articles on everything from old mecha shows and retro games to manga and danmei.
Outside of working on articles for this site, I also enjoy art (the mascot and logos are drawn by me), video games, and reading through my backlog of manga and novels. My drawings are posted both on my social media accounts and on my pixiv.
